We slowed down to a crawl today with a very tight and range bound trading day. Volume dropped off to 1.9 million today after yesterdays 3 million plus. Hopefully the market will face the piper on some of the valuations in equities and get this cleaned out in the third quarter. September is known as the worst performing month on the indexes and it has basically started off with the kind of direction to propel the markets lower. Lots of support here, but for how long?

After driving 14hrs and getting home late last night from our holiday’s, I almost didn’t trade today because in my rules I do not trade tired.  Turned out I felt pretty good this morning and thought I would jump on for the open, boy am I happy I did!  Between 10am and close I took a trade for 27 points all while walking the dog and running errands around town.  The beautiful thing about trading is the ability it has to make more and more money in less and less time!  With only risking $150.00 this trade made $1400.00 in a few hours.

Good trade using 3 contracts this morning totaling $500.00 in less than an hour.  Multiple time frames and precise entries allow for great trades with minimal risk and large target potentials.   I am now done trading for the next 8 weeks or so as I resume holidays tomorrow for the rest of the month and some of August as well.

I realized as I was half way through a small trade this morning that I haven’t made a video in a long time so I decided to turn on the recorder while I finished the trade.  I am only trading 3 contracts on the ES in this video, but still shows that it is not hard to make good money in a small amount of time using an account as small as $2000-$2500.  It is a matter of entries, exits, and execution that make all the difference.

Day trading course – This is my second trade of the day, $200 on the first and then the home run!  I took this trade on the S&P 500 emini futures with 5 contracts and 3 targets, using only $2500 and leverage to get in.   This trade was good for just over 10 points on my final contract and paid $775.00 in about an hour while risking only 3 ticks or $187.50 to get in.  That is better than a 4:1 risk to reward and over a 30% return on money used in about an hour! Not to mention possible with an account smaller than $3500.00!

Trade I took today on the S&P 500 mini futures, with low volume days and the Fed buying the equities up I was able to through in a small trade with  2 contracts and ride the day back up into new highs.  Using multiple target we are able to get our “risk” off the table in a matter of a few minutes and then enjoy a “risk free” ride to the top.
